Members of the Kiwanis Club of Castle Pines serve
as couriers for Project C.U.R.E. by collecting materials from donors
and delivering them to the sort facility.
Project C.U.R.E. is the registered trademark of
the Benevolent Healthcare Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit,
humanitarian relief organization that collects medical supplies and
equipment and donates it to developing countries.
For more information about Project C.U.R.E please

Are you interested in joining us as a courier?
This is
how the process works:
1)
Donor contacts Project C.U.R.E. for a pick up.
2)
The pick up request is faxed to the dispatcher.
3) A computer program is used to determine which courier is
closest to the pick up site. The number of previous dispatches to
the couriers near the location is also taken into consideration to
try to avoid overwhelming any one courier.
4)
The courier is contacted with the donor name, address, phone number,
and expected donation items to be picked up.
5)
The courier then contacts the donor to schedule the pick up.
6)
Once the items have been picked up the courier contacts me to
confirm that the pick up has been made.
7)The courier then drops the supplies off at the Brighton
warehouse, the Littleton sorting center. or the nearest storage unit
at their convenience.
8)
The dispatcher completes the paperwork for the receipt and forwards
it to Project C.U.R.E. who prints the receipt and mails it to the
donor.
